Today, we shall be looking at the issue of conviction, which we defined “as full assurance”.Conviction is the fuel that drives our commitment. It is the gentle voice that inspires and motivates for greater exploit in life. It is faith in action.

It is a place of full assurance that you know that you know. Apostle Paul said “I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.”(Romans 8:38-39).

As children of God our conviction should not only be limited to our five senses. It should be related to what God wants done in our lives, whether we can see signs or not. It is faith in action and this is the hall mark of success in life. The Lord Jesus in the midst of all opposition and antagonisms of his age told his opponents that His achievements and successes in life are product of a life of trust and dependence on His father, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the father do: for whatsoever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise”.(John 5:19)

A man of deep conviction sees no obstacle to the attainment of his goals in life. He forges ahead in stack realities of the obstacles. He is more propelled or motivated by the vision of his heart.Father Abraham matched his conviction with commitment when after receiving the call he left his country home and family for a land of promise whose maker is God. He was persuaded that “what He had promised, he was able to perform”(Romans 4:21).
Young David came after Goliath out of conviction that victory is certain through God.
Your conviction will make you to stand for something and be counted.
It is the price for relevance and a life of significance.

In order to attain to success in life match your commitment with your conviction. It gives you an identity to stay relevance in a changing and dynamic world.
